Littering
No waste or discarded machine, device, vehicle, vessel or other object may be abandoned in the environment, which may cause unclean conditions, disfigurement of the landscape, a decline in amenities, or any other comparable hazard or harm (prohibition on littering) pursuant to section 72 of the Waste Act (646/2011).
The person responsible for littering is primarily obliged to tidy up the littered area. It can also be important to determine who owns the area, as the owner may be responsible for cleaning up.
