Information for ships and port operators on matters relating to ships

The West Coast Environmental Unit carries out ship inspections in the Port of Kaskinen, as set in the International Health Regulations (IHR), which have been approved by the World Health Organization WHO.

The West Coast Environmental Unit also takes water samples on the ships. Water sampling is performed from Monday to Thursday, in the morning.

Our services are subject to charge. The fees are charged in accordance with the applicable tariff table for environmental health services. Water sample analyses are invoiced separately by the laboratory performing the analysis.
